Next stop was a Ceramics and Lacquer Exhibition Workshop, outside of which were lifesize replicas of terracotta warriors.
And inside were even more, of all shapes and sizes.
Rather reminiscent of Africa when the wildlife immediately turns its bum to me.
This lady was filling moulds with clay.
Whilst this one was adding the finishing touches.
This gentleman was apparently famous for the likenesses he creates in his busts but we've no idea who this is meant to be so can't comment.
I thought one our of group looked remarkably like the bust to his left and so he kindly posed for me.
This beautifulk bronze horse only cost £1,100.
This chap was painting the most intricate of patterns on the INSIDE of tiny bottles.
Another was demonstrating lacquerwork.
The showroom was massive and over several floors, some of the exhibits like this were quite ancient.
Fortunately this place also had a restaurant and although it wasn't the best of meals it did boast a noodle chef.
Despite looking like something you'd find in the ocean I believe these are desserts.
